Alva Review Courier 4 Nov 2003 Goldie V Geis-Houts, 90, Alva Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; one son, James Robert Geis; two brothers, Carroll William Butts and Oscar Walter Butts; one sister, Armene Caroline Butts-Harris, and two grandchildren, Tracy Fugit and Jay Charles Geis. Goldie is survived by one son, Dr. Alvin Charles Geis of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Bettielou Lane and her husband, Wayne, of Alva, and Mariesue Geis-Blasi of Scranton, Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren Bryan Stephenson and his wife, Karen, of Woodward, Craig Stephenson of Moore, Kurtis Stephenson and his wife, Pam, of Oklahoma City, Rachel Spellman of Alva, Mike Lane and his wife, Jill, of Ponca City, Stacie Jones and her husband, Kenneth, of Delmont, Penn., Larry Paul Fugit and his wife, Carolyn, of Winslow, Ark., Chris Blasi and his wife, Lauresa, of Clarks Summit, Penn., Dr. Heather Geis-Lensgraf and her husband, Dr. Jay Lensgraf, of Oklahoma City, and Ronda Worlie and her husband, Dave, of Miles City, Mont.; 20 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Nov. 5 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Greg Hook and Rev. Buddy Powell officiating. Interment will be in the Short Springs Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
