All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Municipal Cemetery--Alva OK Alva Review Courier 09 Sep 2004 Olive Goucher, 94, Alva Funeral Services for Olive Goucher, 94, will be held at the Alva First Christian Church Disciples of Christ on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Greg Hook, Pastor Alva First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment follows in the Alva Municipal Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Olive Helen, daughter of Blanche (Grant) and Allen Doughty, was born in Alva on February 7, 1910. She passed away at the Enid St. Mary's Regional Medical Center on Sept. 8, 2004. Mrs. Goucher was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen on February 10, 1999, a grandson, Roger Allen Gordon on June 19, 1973, her parents and a brother, Vern. Olive is survived by her daughter Barbara and her husband Bill Gordon; a son-in-law, Don Gouch; all of Alva; three granddaughters and their husbands, Judy and Bruce Gilliam of Tulsa, Janet and Bruce Helvick of Oolagah, and Debra and Jerry Sample of Morrison; ten great grandchildren, Jeremy and Steven Gilliam; Emily Dowmum and her husband Charles; Bob Parker; Laura, Cindy, and Tom Helvick; Zachary, Christopher, Matthew, and Benjamin Sample; three great, great grandchildren, C.J., Carson, and Madelyn Dowmum; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Woods County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/woods/woods.html
