He moved away with his parents to Capron, Oklahoma, in 1904. He later homesteaded near Freedom where he lived until his health forced him to leave the farm. He moved to Cheyenne where he married Leona Flemming on December 24, 1922. To this union one daughter was born. Mr. Gray was converted at an early age and joined the Methodist Church. In his later years he attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church. He operated a grocery store in Cheyenne until about nine years ago. He leaves to mourn his three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Beavin, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Mrs. Ida von Buskirk, Central Point, Oregon, Mrs. Ellen Sizemore, Cordell, Oklahoma, 5 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. Two brothers, Earl Gray of Yates Center, Kansas, George Gray of Capron, Oklahoma, Two sisters, Kittie Jackson, Capron, Oklahoma, Bessie Mitchell, Rusk, Texas, and a host of their relatives and friends.
