Julia Garcia CANADIAN - Julia Garcia, 84, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors Chapel. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Guillermo Morales, officiating. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Garcia was born in Santa Rosa, Jalisco, Mexico. In 1979, she moved to Canadian from Alva, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She married Francisco Vasquez in Mexico. He died in 1951. She married Nemorio Garcia in 1976 at Waynoka, Okla. He died in 1987. Survivors include a son, Jose Vasquez of Canadian; five daughters, Tasha Nutter of Waynoka, Julia Zaragoza of Roswell, N.M., Petra Vasquez of San Francisco del Rincon, Mexico, and Juana Cervantes and Ana Cervantes, both of Canadian; two sisters, Francisca Lopez and Antonia Lopez, both of Mexico; 32 grandchildren; 55 great- grandchildren; and seven greatgreat-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 804 Kingman, Canadian, TX 79014.
