Viola M Higginbotham, 89, Alva

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, on 
Jan. 31, 1989; her daughter-in-law, Diana Higginbotham, on Dec. 15, 2001; 
four brothers, Andrew, Nelson, Carl, and Charles.

Viola is survived by Joe Higginbotham of Oklahoma City and Suzanne Kurth 
of Angleton, Texas; several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; other 
relatives and friends.

A private family interment will be the morning of Dec. 3. Memorial 
services will be 2 p.m. Dec. 3 at the First United Methodist Church with 
Pastor Weegie Williams officiating. Services are under the direction of 
Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to St. Judes 
Children's Research Hospital.
