(Butch) Holt passed away Jan. 21, 2003 at the age of 62. He was born May 15, 1941 in Alva, Oklahoma to Alfred and Lucille Holt, and lived in Oklahoma all his life. Ron graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in Accounting. Ron was currently with Bank One Securities. Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather and special friend who touched the lives of many. Ron loved life, always had a twinkle in his eye and made friends wherever he was. His greatest pleasures were spending time with family, playing Trivial Pursuit, working crossword puzzles and reminiscing about his Alva Goldbugs sports days. Ron always felt truly blessed. He is survived by his wife Teresa, sons Doug Holt, Rick Holt and wife Beth, daughter Beth Nix and husband Kevin and stepsons Joe and George Cobb all of Edmond. The joy and delight of his life were his grandchildren, Bradley, Braden, Ryan, Grace, Dylan and Samantha. Also surviving is one sister, Chaud Edwards & husband Ron of Alva. Ron was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His parents preceded Ron in death. Services for Ron will be held Saturday, January 25th at 10:00 am at Baggerley Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 13313 N. Kelley, Oklahoma City with interment in Alva at approx. 2:00 pm.
