Services pending with Marshall Funeral Home, Alva. ========= Alva Review Courier 16 Dec 2005 Archie Michael McCray, 94, Greensburg Archie Michael McCray, son of the late Archibald A. And Elizabeth (Murry) McCray, was born September 28, 1911, at Greensburg of Woods County, Oklahoma, and passed away December 14, 2005 at Beadles Nursing Home in Alva, at the age of 94 years, 3 months, and 16 days. He was united in marriage to Avis Nusser on October 28, 1944. After her death, he married Edythe Leeper on June 17, 1962. Archie was preceded by Edythe in 1992. Besides his parents and wives, Archie was preceded by one brother, Kenneth McCray. He is survived by a nephew, Joe McCray, and his wife, Becky; a niece, Sue Kile and her husband; two sisters-in-law, Helen Patterson and Vi McCray; a brother-in-law, Joe Locke; cousins, Gayless Hill, Dorothy Hickman, Bill Murry, Bob McCray and Jack McCray; other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2005, at Garrison Cemetery with Paul Cole, pastor of Town and Country Christian Church, officiating. Interment is under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation or toward the funeral expenses.
