Mary Lew Rea, 75, Hutchinson, Kan.

Mary Lew Rea, 75, of Hutchinson, Kan., died Sept. 22, 2004, at Hospice 
House. The daughter of Lewis W. and Emma F. Hamm Tarvin, she was born Aug. 
27, 1929, in Hutchinson.

She was a longtime resident of Hutchinson and had also lived in Alva.

Mrs. Rea is survived by her husband, Bill of Hutchinson; a son, Bob Rea of 
Springdale, Ark.; two daughters, Becky Royse of Hutchinson, Kan., and 
Melia Stoll of Liberal, Kan.; a sister, Nance Hanson of Layton, Utah; nine 
grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death 
by a brother, Richard Tarvin.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Elliott 
Mortuary Chapel in Hutchinson, Kan., with Pastor Robert Albin officiating. 
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at Elliott Mortuary today from noon to 9 p.m. and Friday 
from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Reno County in 
care of the mortuary.
