C." Rebel, 69, Alva Herman Cleveland "H. C." Rebel, son of the late Carl and Mary (Spencer) Rebel, was born January 31, 1936, at Alva, Oklahoma and passed away at the Share Medical Center on April 14, 2005 at the age of 69 years, 2 months, and 14 days. H. C. graduated from Alva High School with the Class of 1955 and worked for several farmers in the area and lived all of his life in Alva except while serving in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960. He was a member of the Alva Moose Lodge #2100 and Blackwing VFW. Besides his parents, H. C. was preceded in death by one son, Fred, four brothers, Henry, Fred, Wayne and Bob, and one sister, Dorothy Kay Doman. He is survived by one daughter, Diana of N.Y.; one brother, Leo, and his wife, Christy, of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Betty Crowley and her husband, Bill, of Alva, Cenya Mae Meon, of Madera, Calif., other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2005 at the Alva Municipal Cemetery with the Veterans of America Honor Guard. Interment is under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the donor's choice or to help with the funeral expenses.
