Rebel, Shirley Barbara 82, Alva

Shirley Barbara Rebel, 82, daughter of the late Vernon T. and Irene 
(Murphy) Hollenbeck was born Dec. 21, 1921, at Worcester, Mass. and passed 
away March 9, 2004 at Beadles Nursing Home in Alva.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, on 
June 30, 2001, and one brother, Donald Hollenbeck.

Shirley is survived by two sons, Mark Abbate and his wife, Debbie, of 
Barrington, R.I., and Richard Palmer and his wife, Debbie, of Tampa Fla.; 
two daughters, Suzanne Jackson of Alva, and Debbie DuBois of Spring Hill, 
Fla.; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; other relatives and 
friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2004 at the 
Marshall Funeral Chapel with Dr. Greg Hook officiating. Interment will be 
in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral 
Home of Alva.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Beadles 
Nursing Home Activity Fund.
