Glenn E. Snyder, 90, Alva

Glenn Edman Snyder, 90, son of Ada Loretta (Smith) and Samuel Fernoi 
Snyder, was born Jan. 30, 1914, near Winchester, Okla. He passed away at 
the Alva Beadles Nursing Home on Oct. 22, 2004.

Mr. Snyder was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Nona 
Vaughn, Eula Kell and Ruby Cole, and a brother, Ted.

Glenn is survived by his daughter and her husband, Glenda Mae and Steve 
Flipse of Billings, Mont.; three sons and their wives, Sam and Judy of 
Roanoke, Texas, Elvin and Connie of Kansas City, Mo., and Sterling and 
Jackie of Loveland, Colo.; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a 
sister, Doris Schaeffer of Beloit, Kan.; two brothers and their wives, 
Gordon and LaDonna of Beloit, Kan., and Vernon and Donnis of Marion, Kan.; 
a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 25 at the Wharton Funeral Chapel 
in Alva with Dr. Greg Hook, pastor, Alva First Baptist Church, 
officiating. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery with Wharton 
Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
