Bobby Leroy Whisman, 60, Alva

Funeral services will be at the Alva Assembly of God Church Sept. 10 at 10 
a.m. with Rev. Mark Bagley, pastor, officiating. Interment follows in the 
Alva Municipal Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of 
arrangements.

Mr. Whisman was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, 
Wilbur Province.

Bobby is survived by his wife Diana of the home; two daughters: Melissa 
and Rudy Briggs and Amanda Whisman all of Alva; one son, Damon Whisman of 
Perkins; six grandchildren: Cody, Zack, and Tanner Briggs, Carl, Cortlin 
and David Cruz; four brothers and their wives: Ron and Shirley Whisman of 
Wichita, Kan., Les and Barbara Whisman of Alva, Leroy and Margaret 
Province of Enid, and Brette and Shelly Province of Ashland, Kan.; a 
number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his best buddy, 
Tom Howell.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the Alva Assembly of God 
Church.
