All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Fairview Cemetery--Pampa TX Faye Kirkham Whitney DUMAS - Faye Kirkham Whitney, 81, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel in Pampa. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Whitney was born in Seminole County, Okla., and moved to Borger in 1939. She had lived in Dumas a short while. She was a licensed beautician and beautician instructor in Liberal, Kan.; Alva, Okla.; and Pampa. She became a licensed vocational nurse working in the Sulphur Springs, Pampa and Perryton areas. She was a member of the Hobart Baptist Church in Pampa, Order of Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge where she had served as a noble grand. She married Aderon Kirkham in 1935 at Seminole. He died in 1973. Survivors include three sons, Bill Kirkham of Pampa, Jim Kirkham of Fritch and Don Kirkham of Dumas; a brother, Edward Earnest of Carlsbad, N.M.; a sister, Lena Ekenberg of West Sacramento, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
