Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born in Alva, Woods County, Oklahoma Territory Oct.21, 1906 to Jacob J. And Carrie Glaser. She attended and graduated from Alva Public Schools. She graduated from what now is Northwestern Oklahoma State University and did graduate work at University of California Berkeley . She taught grade school at Belva, OK: and also taught at Emerson Jr. High in Enid and in Alva High School. The former Louise Glaser and Mr. W.O. Wethington were married on July 27,1933 at Alva. They made their home in Nash until moving to Enid in 1971. Mrs. Wethington was a member of the Order of eastern Star at Nash: Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority: Life member of Northwestern University Alumni Association: First Methodist Church at Enid: Homemakers study club at Nash: Nash Senior Citizen Club: Enid Garden Study Club: Woods county Genealoogists Club: Garfield County Union Neighborly Club: Enid Lioness Club: The Grange: a former member of BPW club and of the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic. Mrs. Wethington was the first Rainbow girl in the State of Oklahoma. Survivors include her Husband Mr. W.O. Wethington of the Home and Several Cousins.
