Bernice F. Walker, 88

Graveside Services for Bernice F. Walker, 88, will be at the Alva 
Municipal Cemetery on November 6, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Sean Evans, 
Pastor Alva First Christian Church, officiating. Interment follows in the 
Alva Municipal Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of 
arrangements.

Miss Keck Married V. Everette Walker on September 26, 1926 in Fairview, 
Oklahoma. To their marriage two daughters Jacqueline (Jackie) and Lynne 
were born. Mr.Walker passed away December 6, 1992.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her daughter Jackie, her parents.

Bernice is survived by her daughter and husband Lynne and Michael Lanning 
of Wichita, Kansas, two grandsons; Jeffrey Lanning of Wichita, Kansas and 
Robert Lanning of Oklahoma City, and their families, great-grandson Avery 
Lanning of Wichita, Kansas. Sister Velma Mayfield of Edmond, nephews, 
other relatives and friends.

Contributions may be made in her memory to the Northwestern Oklahoma State 
University Foundation.
