She passed away April 28th, 1946, at the age of 80 years and four months. She moved with her parents to Oswego, Kansas, where she was married to James M. Baker April 26th, 1883. She was the mother of eight children. They made the run into Oklahoma and homesteaded near Woodward. In 1902 they moved to a farm near Rankin, and resided here for 17 years, later making their home in California. At the age of 18 she united with the Baptist Church and lived a consecrated life for 62 years. Her hussband, two sons and three daughters preceded her in death. After her husband's death she made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Kitty Purcell near Reydon until 1942, going to California and living with children there. She leaves to mourn her passing, Mrs. Kitty Purcell of Reydon; Sidney Baker of Maywood, California; Mrs. Georgia Conrad of Lampaco, California; 14 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchilddren, and other relatives and friends. Services were held in the Community building in Reydon, May 8th, 1946. Rev. Charles Simpson of Sharon and Rev. H. Woodard officfiated. Interment was in White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
