Binkley, former resident of Leedey, Oklahoma, passed away January 16, 2006, at Grace Living Center in Woodward, Oklahoma. She was 80 years old. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 19,2006 at 2 p.m. at Zwanziger Funeral Home Chapel in Woodward, Oklahoma with Lawrence Glennie officiating. A burial service was also held at Woodland Cemetery in North Bend, Nebraska on January 20, 2006. Vivian J. (Liska) Brinkley was born May 4, 1925 at Brainard, Nebraska to John E. and Mary F. (Kastl) Liska. She graduated high school from The Church Of Immacfulate Conception in 1943 at Dwight, Nebraska. Vivian married Robert P. Binkley May 3, 1945 at Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a homemaker, devoted mother and grandmother. Hobbies she enjoyed were cooking, crocheting, working in her garden and helpinhg elderly people in their homes. She is survived by two sons, Kermit J. Binkley and wife, Carol of Alma, Arkansaw, Brian P. Brinkley of Woodward, Oklahoma and two daughters, Debbie A. Cummings and husband Larry, Mercer, PA., Christina M. Basler aand husband Jerry, Piedmont, Oklahoma by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and one sister, Irenee Kirby of York, Nebraska. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert P. Binkley, and two sisters, Camilla Kudlacek and Helen Turek.
