Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday September 18, 2008 in the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Charlie Graves officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Dwayne Fox was born on June 22, 1959 in Altus, Oklahoma to Leland J. and Irene Sue (Teal) Fox. Dwayne was reared in Leedey and attended Leedey schools graduating from Leedey High School in 1977. He was married to Terri Williams and to this union two children were born, Austin and Jenni. Dwayne then moved to Woodward where he worked in the oilfield for a short time before going to work for Randy Glitsch Construction. He was united in marriage to Polly Anne Bowman on June 8, 1992 and they made their home in Woodward. Dwayne started his own business N.W. Backhoe and Brush Beating and continued it until his death. Dwayne enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Jayden and Jase. He especially enjoyed fishing with Jaydsen. He is survived by his wife Polly of the home; daughter; Jenni Corr and husband Jeremy of Roanoke, TX; one son, Austin Fox of Woodward, two grandchildren; Jayden and Jase Corr, his father, Leland Fox and wife Elma of Cushing, one sister, Kim Shelton and husband Donald Louya of Aberdeen, NC, one brother, Darrin Fox and wife Sherrilyn and their children; Chelsea Edwards and Tucker Fox of Edmond, Oklahoma, other family and friends. Dwayne was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents, Lee and Violet Fox, maternal grandparents, Ben and Juanita Teal, one uncle Dean Fox, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Henry and Emadell Bowman. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Vhurch with the funeral home accepting contributions.
