Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Heart Cemetery at Booker with the Rev. Don Travis officiating. Arrangements are by Mason Funeral Home of Shattuck, Okla. Mrs. Johnson was born in Higgins and was educated in the Higgins public school system. She moved from Higgins when she was 18 years old. She married Volney Thomas Johnson in 1938 at Woodward, Okla. They lived on a farm southwest of Darrouzett. She worked around the Follett and Darrouzett area. She also was employed at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo from 1950 to 1951. They moved to Higgins in 1975, when Mr. Johnson retired from farming. He died in 1986. Mrs. Johnson then moved back to Darrouzett. Survivors include two brothers, Ralph Wassell of San Antonio and Loraine Cooper Wassell of Perkins, Okla.; a sister, Addie Lee Gregg of Sun City, Calif.; and a friend, Billie Lee White of Woodward, Okla.
