Charlie A. Karns

WOODWARD, Okla. - Charlie A. "Chuck" Karns, 96, died Thursday, Sept. 
10, 1998.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Zwanziger Funeral Home Chapel 
with the Rev. Johnnie Sharpton officiating. Burial will follow in 
Elmwood Cemetery.

Mr. Karns was born near Woodward in a dugout. He worked with the WPA 
in the 1930s. For a number of years, he was employed by Long Bell 
Lumber. He attended the Methodist Church.

He is survived by a brother, Harry Karns of Woodward.
