Ludden, 95, formerly of Amarillo, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999. Vigil will be at 7 p.m. today in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 Bell St. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Monsignor Francis A. Smyer officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Ludden was born in May, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1943 from Mooreland, Okla. She was a cook for the Amarillo Independent School District. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Amarillo Senior Citizens. In 1983, she moved to Topeka, Kan. She married T.J. Ludden in 1950 at Canyon. She was preceded in death by her husband and by a son, F.A. "Tommy" Ludden. Survivors include two daughters, Dortha Graves of Houston and Norma Sechrist of Topeka; a brother, Ervin Van Fleet of Laverne, Okla.; two sisters, Edna Owens of Phoenix and Selma Neilsen of Laverne; eight grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
