Hazel Josephine Patton

SHAMROCK - Hazel Josephine Patton, 72, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Moorewood Baptist 
Church, Moorewood, Okla., with the Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, pastor of 
Calvary Christian Fellowship Church of Shamrock, officiating. 
Cremation was by Wright Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Patton was a homemaker. She retired as a restaurant cook and a 
convenience store manager.

She married J.C. Patton in 1942. The couple lived in Moorewood for 13 
years and then in Kiowa, Kan. In 1978 they moved to Woodward, Okla. 
Since December 1996 Mrs. Patton had been a resident of Wheeler Care 
Center. Her husband died in 1997.

Survivors include three sons, Ron Patton of Shamrock, Bob Patton of 
Cheney, Kan., and J.C. Patton Jr. of Woodward; three daughters, Hazel 
Hendricks of Hutchinson, Kan., Virginia Saldana of Austin and Patti 
Hager of The Woodlands; four sisters, Lou Hanson of Bakersfield, 
Calif., June Shaull of Gilroy, Calif., Alberta Cravens of Medicine 
Lodge, Kan., and Eylene Ray of Clinton, Okla.; three brothers, 
Lawrence Ramsey of Byron, Okla., Don Ramsey of Mulvane, Kan., and 
Junior Ramsey of Watonga, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 
greatgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be to Alzheimer's 
Association, c/o Wright Funeral Directors, 311 N. Wall St., Shamrock, 
TX 79079.
