::Hillcrest Cemetery--McLean TX

Eugene Smith

McLEAN - Eugene "Debs" Smith, 87, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Hillcrest Cemetery 
with Hershel Smith of Clarendon officiating. Arrangements are by Lamb 
Funeral Home of McLean.

Mr. Smith was born in Love, Okla. He had lived in McLean and Turkey 
where he farmed before moving to Amarillo. He retired from the City 
of Sunnyvale, Calif., then spent time along the Oregon Coast. He was 
a Baptist.

He married Esther Pauline Smith in 1932 at Sayre, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charles Eugene Smith of 
Buffalo Gap, Earl Wayne Smith of Sacramento, Calif., and Lawrence 
Smith of Stockton, Calif.; a daughter, Helen Smith Williams of 
Oakland, Calif.; a brother, Alan Smith of McLean; a sister, Ann 
Harbour of Brookings, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 
greatgrandchildren.
