::Fairmont Cemetery--Follett TX

Mildred L. Travis

FOLLETT - Mildred L. Travis, 82, died Friday, June 6, 1997.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Follett Chapel with Rolan 
Haney, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Fairmont Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Mason Funeral Home.

Mrs. Travis was born in Woodward, Okla. When she was young, the 
family moved to a farm North of Follett. She graduated from Follett 
High School in 1934.

She married Donald Leroy Travis in 1934 at Shattuck, Okla. They 
located in Follett, where they lived 62 years together.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sherry Tobin of Follett; a 
son, Nick Travis of Santa Fe, N.M.; a brother, Bill Teter of Santa 
Maria, Calif.; a sister, Helen Stitt of Tucson, Ariz.; a grandson; 
two great-grandsons.
