S. McCurley, was united in marriage last week to Miss Della Connell of Reno, Nev. The marriage took place at Klamath Falls, Judge Benson performing the ceremony. - Prineville Journal. Delaney was a reporter on the Herald a few months ago and Miss Connell was a stenographer and typewriter with office at the Geiser Grand in this City. - Sunday Morning St. Stephen's Church. Sunday school will close at 10:50 next Sunday monring in order that the service of the church may begin promptly at 11 a.m., as the recotr has promised to conduct a final rehearsal of the choir which is to give the recital at St. Stephen's Sunday night at 7:30 o'clock. - Married Baker City, Thursday, January 12, 1905, the Reverend Fred W. Hart of the First Methodist church officiating, Miss Margaret Garner and Mr. Mahlon F. Allen, at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Louise Garner, 1703 Valley Avenue. The bride was attired in a white gown trimmed in lace and carried a bouquet of carnations. Only the immediate friends of the family were present at the ceremony. The groom is a well known rancher living near Auburn. - PERSONAL R. H. Benedict, a mining man of Sumpter, is in the city. H. H. Nicholson, of Sumpter, is in the city. Columbus Goodspeed is in from the Moore farm at Pine and will visit for a time at the home of his sister, Mrs. A. P. Weller, in this city. Percy Holland, representing the Pacific Paper Company, of Portland, is in the city. - DOES ANYBODY KNOW ONE CHAS. A. SAYLOR Postmaster Moomaw of this city is in receipt of a letter from Porter Saylor, of Laurelville, Ohio, under date of January 9, making inquiry as to the whereabouts of Chas. A. Saylor, an uncle of the writer. According to Mr. Moomaw's correspondent, Chas. A. Saylor was born in the village of Tarlton, Ohio. He left Ohio in 1881 for the west, settled in Baker City and followed the occupation of a miner. He last corresponded with his Ohio relatives about 20 years ago and in his last letter he stated he was in Baker City but would soon leave for the mines. Chas. Saylor, if living, is about 55 years of age, tall and very robust looking. If anyone knows anything concerning Mr. Saylor they will do a great act of kindness by (telling) Postmaster Moomaw so that he can advise the anxious relatives making the inquiry.
