David Samuelsen - April 2002 ************************************************************************ Eagle Valley News; Richland, OR; 20 June 1918 A Former Resident Dead We have just been informed of the death of John Baker, which occurred at Phoenix, Arizona, on June 3rd. He had underwent an operation for appendicitis about six weeks ago, but had to undergo another for tubercular trouble the result of which caused his death. Mr. Baker was a resident of Eagle Valley for about 20 years previous to his removal to Arizona a few months ago, and was well and favorably known throughout this section.
