Sill, at one time a resident of New Bridge, arrived last evening from San Jose, Calif., with the body of her daughter, Mrs. Ruth A. Love, who died in San Jose on March 20th after an illness of about three months. The deceased was raised here as was known to our residents as America Hilton, and left here about 12 years ago, but had visited here many times since. The remains were interred in the Eagle Valley cemetery today after appropriate services at the grave, conducted by Rev. Bean of the Christian church. The following relatives were in attendance at the last sad rites: the mother, Mrs. Sill; a sister, Mrs. Mary Horton of Baker; an aunt, Mrs. Rhoda Baker of La Grande, and a cousin, Mr. Carl Barrows of Richland. A brother, Fred Hilton of Langali's Valley, Oregon, was unable to come.
