WILKINS DIES Mrs. Fred Wilkins, who has been seriously ill for some time past, died at her home in New Bridge last evening. The funeral will be held at noon Friday. Eagle Valley News: Richland, OR; 8 Mar 1917 Mrs. Sarah T. Sharp - Wilkins who was buried last Thursday, was born in Missouri, and was a sister of John Sharp of New Bridge, and of Wm. Sharp a former Eagle Valley resident, three other brothers and a sister also survive. She was married to Fred D. Wilkins in Colorado on May 5, 1902, and with him came to Eagle Valley in June, 1913. Mrs. Wilkins had been affilicted with lung trouble for many years, but her death was the result of an abscess on the liver. She was widely known throughout this section; and all who knew her loved her, and when her from was consigned to the grave after appropriate service by Rev. Wixom, those assembled felt that Eagle Valley had sustained a great loss. Besides the bereaved husband and the brothers and sisters referred to above, there are three children left to mourn the death of a most loving and tender hearted mother, Clyde aged 14, Fontleroy 13, and Eva 10 years. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to them in this their sad hour.
