Pioneer Passes Away

Mrs. Marion Hibbler died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. C. H. Ames,
1845 Cherry street at 10 o'clock last night from pneumonia. The deceased was
75 years of age. Another daughter, Mrs. Perry of Oakland, California also
survives Mrs. Hibler. Mrs. Hibler came to Baker in 1846 (1864?) And was one of
the best known pioneers of the country. Portland and San Francisco papers

Funeral of Mrs. Hibler
The funeral of Mrs. Marium Hibler, the aged and respected pioneer lady and
Mother of Mrs. C. H. Ames, of this city, who died Wednesday evening, will take
place this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Ames home,No. 1845 Cherry street.
