David Samuelsen - March 2002 - not copyrightable ************************************************************************ The Morning Democrat, Baker City, OR; 2 Nov 1906 Died of Dropsy The death of Elizabeth, beloved wife of John McPherson, a blacksmith of Sumpter, occurred at St. Elizabeth hospital yesterday morning at 5:30, the cause of the death being dropsy, an ailment she had been suffering with for nearly a year. The deceased was aged 26 years and leaves a husband and two children, the youngest an infant daughter. The funeral will take place from the undertaking rooms of Welch & Co., Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. 3 Nov 1906 The funeral of Mrs. John McPherson, of Sumpter, will take place this afternoon at 2 o'clock from Welch & Co's.
