Parker,wife of the cashier of the First National Bank,of this city,committed suicide last night by taking an overdose of morphine.Domestic infelicity was the cause of the act and no surprise to the public. A double tragedy has long been expected.A policeman broke open the bedroom door and found the deceased lying dead on the floor,dressed in her nightgown.Death had resulted several hours previous.She threatened to take her own life yesterday morning if her husband did not return home.He had been away for several days.The father of the deceased resides at Rye Valley,this county,and a daughter by a former husband attnds school in Oakland.
