David Samuelsen - October 2001 *********************************************************************** Baker County Wills Vol 2 page 188 Bridget Grenier of Baker City probated 2 Jan 1904 To all whom it may concern: Know ye, that I, Bridget Grenier, of Baker county, State of Oregon, being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainties of life, do hereby make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament; that is to say: First: After all my just and legal debts are paid and discharged, and the expenses of my burial shall have been paid, the residue of my estate I give, devise, bequeath and dispose of as follows: To my daughter, Delvina Nault, one dollar; to my son, Joseph Grenier, the sum of one dollar; to my daughtrer, Rosa Keyton, the sum of one dollar; to my daughter, Philomenia Hopp, the sum of one dollar; to my daughter Mary Parent, the sum of one dollar; to my son Napoleon Grenier, the sum of one dollar; to my daughter, Lumena Grenier, the sum of one dollar; all of which is to be first paid out of my estate. Second: I give, devise and bequeath the residue of my estate both real and personal to my daughter, Olive Gibbs and her husband Charles Gibbs jointly and particularly all that certain real property situated in Baker county, Oregon, known as the Grenier homestead, and particularly described as follows: the NW 1/4 of Sec. 12 in Tp 10, S R 40, EWM, together with all my household effects of of every kind and character of which I may die seized and possessed. I do hereby make, constitute and appoint my said daughter, Olive Gibbs, and her husband Charles Gibbs, to be my executors of this my last will and testament, they to act jointly and without bonds or other security and I hereby revoke all former wills by me made. This my last will and testament is made and executed in accordance with the terms of that certain written agreement made and entered into by and between myself and my daughter, Olive Gibbs, and her husband, Charles Gibbs, bearing date of July 21, 1903.
