March 1849 Oregon Territorial Census: LEWIS COUNTY (now Washington State)

[Notes:  Enumeration for this county consists of a single page in three columns, 
arranged in roughly alphabetical order at the time with the exception of six 
names at the end.  The usual problems arise from trying to determine identity of 
similarly formed letters used as initials, and from the difficulties the 
enumerator had in spelling some of the names.
Symbols used are “m 21+” to denote males over the age of 21, “m -21” to denote 
males under the age of 21, “f” for females who were all grouped together.  Those 
who were foreign citizens have been identified as “foreign.”  N. Prevost]
