PLAINS TO OREGON IN 1847.  MARRIED HUGH CURRIN DEC 29, 1849 AND LIVED ON THIS 
DONATION LAND CLAIM NO 40 THE BALANCE OF HER LIFE.

Lillie Wilbern, wife of Hugh Currin, Born in Santa Clara Co. Ca, Mar 15, 1865, 
Died Dec 18, 1892, aged 27 yr's 9 mo & 8 days.  JUST AS THE MORNING OF HER LIFE 
WAS OPENING INTO DAWN HER YOUNG AND LOVELY SPIRIT PASSED FROM EARTH AND GRIEF 
AWAY.

Hugh F. Currin, Born Mar 21, 1857 Died Mar 23, 1903, aged 46 years.  PEACEFUL BE 
THE SILENT SLUMBER.  PEACEFUL IN THE GRAVE LOW.  THOU NO MORE WILL JOIN OUR 
NUMBER.  THOU NO MORE OUR SORROWS KNOW.
