James Gibson was buried in the cemetery located on land which he had donated many years ago to be used as a public cemetery. The Gibson Cemetery is located in T3S R4E sec 3 Lot 800 and became part of the Estacada Cemetery Association in 1967. It contains 1 acre. It is also known as the Douglass Cemetery It was read Sept 2006. Information was obtained from tombstones, Clackamas County Family History Society, family records and genealogy websites. A complete inventory including tombstone photos and family photos where available has been undertaken with the help of a grant from the Oregon Historic Cemetery Commission. You may contact the submitter for further information. Directions: : From Interstate HWY I-5, take the Clackamas Exit 12A southbound or Exit 12 northbound and go east on Hwy 224. Follow Hwy 224 approximately 16 miles, turn east on SE Wildcat Mtn Drive. Follow the road approximately 3 miles. Crane Road intersects on the left.
