Clackamas County records place it in Sec 5 T3S R4E TL5000 containing 1.49 acres. It is part of DLC 44 granted to John B Chiles. It is zoned as a rural home site and ownership resides in William T Linn and George Githens but is on the property tax rolls as a cemetery and is, therefore, not taxed. Apparently ownership has never been transferred to beneficiaries. Its only access is across private property which was previously owned by Hugh and Gussie (Githens) Carlin. It is not maintained and is on private land. It is surrounded by two cast iron fences, one original and a new one surrounding the two most recent graves. The site is covered with low growing myrtle and is surrounded by oak trees. There are probably unmarked graves that are covered by foliage. It was read September 2006. A complete inventory including tombstone photos and family photos where available has been undertaken with the help of a grant from the Oregon Historic Cemetery Commission. You may contact the submitter for further information. Documented information has been obtained through family records and histories, genealogy websites, and county records. Directions: From Interstate HWY I-5, take the Clackamas Exit 12A southbound or Exit 12 northbound and go east on Hwy 224. Follow Hwy 224 approximately 16 miles, turn east on SE Wildcat Mtn Road. Turn south on SE Eagle Creek Road for ½ mile. The private road starts just to the south of the Eagle Creek Inn and the cemetery is on top the hill in the oak trees.
