Clackamas County News September 29, 1921
Michael Stuaber and Barbara Stauber observed their Golden Wedding at St James 
Church in New Era Thursday,solemn high mass being celebrated by Rev Mathew 
Jonas,pastor of Canby was deacon,and Father Hyacinth of St Johns was sub 
deacon.Mr and Mrs Stauber were married in Chicago and came to Oregon forty 
years ago,settling near New Era,where Mr Stauber has developed on of the 
finest farms in the county.They have eleven children,five of whom are living 
and were present at the celebration of the anniversary.Eight grandchildren are 
living.
