Canby Herald and Clackamas County news January 25,1923 
Clarence Adkins Dies,Deaconess Hospital,Spokane
News of the death of Rev.Clarence Adkins,son in law of Mr and Mrs K.O.Hils,of 
this city,was received this week by Mr Hills,death occuring at the Deaconess 
hospital in Spokane,Wash.,after three weeks illness of sleeping sickness.he 
was a Methodist minister at *** Idaho.he is survived by his widow,Mrs Mary 
Afkins and one child.Funeral services will be held at Butte,Montana
