New Era Pioneer Passes Away Monday
Mrs.Anna Baumann,a resident of the New Era Community for more than fifty 
years,died at the family home Monday at the age of eightysix years.She had 
been ill for only a few weeks.
Mrs.Baumann was well known in Clackamas Conuty.her husband died nine years ago.
Mrs.Baumann,who was born in Austria,leaves the following children:Mrs.Joseph 
Griessen,West Linn;Mrs.Tracy Reif,Mrs.Anna Hurias,Mrs.Francis Lewis,Max 
Baumann, and Charles Baumann,all of New Era;Mrs.Mary Schelling,McMinnville and 
Mrs.Christina Lane,Portland.
Forty grandchildren,30 great grandhcildren and a sister,Mrs.Frances Bratt of 
New Era,also survive.
Funeral services were held in the New Era church yesterday afternoon,conducted 
by Father Jonas of this city,and internment was made in the family lot at the 
New Era cemetary
