DEATH OF JAMES H. BROWN

Oregon City, Or. May 2.
James H. Brown, aged 59 years, a pioneer of 1853, died at his home at Logan 
yesterday. He came to Oregon from Illinois when 9 years of age, and had been 
Postmaster at Logan for several years. He left a wife, one daughter and two 
sons. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday.
