Mr. Joseph Crowther, who was formerly employed as head finisher in the Oregon 
City Woolen Mills, a very worthy and intelligent young man, was killed in a 
gasoline explosion at Sherbrook, Province of Ontario, recently. A paper which 
contains particulars of the explosion, informs us that Mr. Crowther was 
employed in the finishing room of the establishment where he met his death. 
One other person met a similar fate, and a third was badly injured.
