Macksberg farmer Dies Very Suddenly
Jesse Martin,prominent farmer in the Macksberg dostrict for a number of 
years,died sunddenly Saturday night.He complained of being ill for a few days 
previous to his departure,but said he had too much to do tostay inside the 
house,and at a time when he should have been in bed he was trying to attend to 
duties on the farm.He was forced to give up,however,and went to bed.he failed 
very rapidly and the end came very suddenly.
Previous to the attack of inluenza he had been in very good health.
Mr.Martin was very well known in this part of the country where he had lived 
for a number of years.He issurvived by his widow,and a family of two children.
The funeral was held New Year's Day
