The death of William B. Partlow, at his home near Oregon City closes a life of 
useful and unpretentious endeavor, covering more than three-fourths of a 
century. Of this period, fifty-three years were passed in Clackamas County in 
the simple industrial life that goes far toward making a good citizen

The Late William Partlow - Oregon Pioneer of 1852

William Partlow, long a resident of Oregon City, arrived in Clackamas county 
from Danville, Ill., August 27, 1852. He died November 14.
