J.J Sandsness and Mrs Sophie Knutson Married
Prominent Canby Couple Spring a Surprise on Their Many friends of this city 
and vicinty
J.J Sandsness and Mrs Sophie Knutson,both of this city,sprung a surprise on 
their many friends of this vicinty,when they were united in marriage at the 
Immanuel Lutheran Church of Woodburn,this morning at 11 o'clocl,with Rev 
H.Rogen ,pastor of the local Lutheran Church,performing the ceremony in the 
presence of a few immediate firends of the couple.
After the ceremony,Mr and Mrs Sandsness left for Eugene,where they will enjoy 
a few days honeymoon,before returning to this city where they will make their 
home.
The groom is a prominent real estate man of this city,and has lived in Canby 
for many years,having conducted a hardware and implement store int his city 
for several years,and at one time lived on a farm near Barlow.
The bride is also well and favourably known in Canby and vicinity,as she has 
resided ina nd near Canby for many years.Mrs Sandsness is a very prominent 
figure in the Lutheran Church activities,being president of the Ladies Aid 
Society of that Church.
Their many friends wish to congratulate the happy couple and may their life be 
filled with nothing but happiness
