Mornign Oregonian September 21, 1904
Astpria,Or.Sept.20-(Special)- The residence of S.P.Hoff at Cathlamet was 
destroyed by fire last night with all its contents. The members of the family 
were away at the time so the origin of the fire is unkonwn,but it is supposed 
to have been caused by a defective flue. The loss is estimated at $1000 with 
no insurance.
