The groom is a prosperous young wheatraiser of Ione,Morrow County.The ceremony was performed by Rev.William Horsfall,of the Episcopal Church. Miss Alice McCormac,the youngest sister of the bride,was bridesmaid,and Eric Wold was best man. Dr.McCormac gave his daughter away. The wedding was remarkable for the many costly presnts and for the art displayed in the decorations. Ivy,Oregon grapevines,with their pale blue berriess, sweet peas, white roses and ferns were used in the color scheme. A wedding breakfast was sserved to a few of the relatives and intimate friends.This afternoon the reception was given at the beautiful McCormac home to 300 guests. The bride wore a costume of white broadcloth,the bridesmaid dotted swiss, and the bride's mother pearl silk. Those who assisted in receiving were Mesdames Hazard, Rochon, Taylor, Minott, Wilbur and Slagle, the Misses Margaret Anderson, Evelyn Anderson,Agnes Hutcheson,Alice Butler,Edna O'Connell and Suzie Eickworth.
