JAMES MERLE "COTTON" TRACY
Sept. 23, 1911 — April 19, 2003

James Merle "Cotton" Tracy, 91, died April 19 at his home in Harper.

He was born Sept. 23, 1911, at Canyon City the youngest of seven children to
James and Ella (Welch) Tracy.

Mr. Tracy served in the United States Navy.

He lived the majority of his life on the family ranch near Canyon City.

Mr. Tracy is survived by three grandnieces, Ann Sinner of Fairview, Pam Butcher
of Estacada and Carol Hudson of Gresham and several great- and
great-great-grandnieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Walter, Wallace, Ellis, Vern, Arthur "Rip"
Tracy, sister Katherine Kennedy and niece Patricia (Tracy) Larkin.

No services are planned at his request. Interment will be at Canyon City Cemetery.

Driskill Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
