Died Feb 5,1866-Killed by Indians. East end of Wright's Point. Moore, Raleigh S. 1906-1918 Cox, Thomas D. Oct 21,1933-Oct 21,1933 Located 2 miles South of Rock Creek Ranch. Private property-get permission. Bennett, Leslie Bertram Mar 24,1884-Aug 16,1886 Another grave there thought to be a woman and maybe a Vickers. Mouth of Rattlesnake Canyon on right of old road. McLaughlin, Nettie A. Pioneer Mother May 2,1852-June 16,1887 On Malhuer Nat'l Wildlife Refuge-Go 40 miles on Hwy 205 to Buena Vista and turn left 1.7 miles to Center Patrol Road; turn left and go 3.8 miles and is on left hand side of road and is fenced. There are 4 upright railroad ties and is back of them a little ways. Also can take Center Patrol Road from Refuge Headquarters and go past milepose 12 and is on the right side of road. She was born May 2,1852 and died in June of 1887 at the age of 35. She was first married to a man named Brown in 1869 who had a homestead on the Blitzen, northwest of gravesite. After her husband died in 1876 she married the man for whom McLoughlin Slough was named. She only lived about one more year. Three children were born to her marriage to Brown.
