One each of congestive chill, scarlatina, typhoid malaria, brain fever, congestion of brain, drowning, inflammation of bowels, paralysis, and four diseases not stated. Of this number 16 were 50 years and upwards, 16 were under 20 years of age and 7 between 20 and 50 years. Twenty-two of these died in Jacksonville, 3 in Jacksonville precinct, 2 on Applegate, 4 from Medford, 2 from the county hospital and one each from Rock Point, Phoenix and Ashland. As compared with former reports, this is a very favorable showing for the health of the county for the past year. [signed] R. S. Dunlap, Sexton.
