Wm. Hart, who has been stopping at the Ashland hotel for several years past, committed suicide last Friday. The body was found less than half a mile from the center of the town, and was lying in a cramped position, face downward. The indications are that death resulted from taking some strong poison with suicidal intent. The cause is supposed to be financial troubles, as it is reported that he had lost all he had in speculating. Mr. Hart was a pleasant gentleman and respected by all who knew him.
